The Founder

The founder teaches the founding first grade.

Not from an office. From the front of the room, every morning, chalk in hand. That is the level of conviction this school is built on.

I am building Keystone because my own three children deserve this school — and so do yours.

I have spent more than a decade teaching in nearly every form it takes: the classroom, the department chair's office, curriculum built from scratch, and the home, where my wife Jenelle and I school our children. I founded a nonprofit that grew to serve four hundred students across fifteen schools, and built a free AP U.S. History course used across the country. In every setting I have watched the same thing: children rise when adults take them seriously. So Keystone will take them seriously — and I will be in the first-grade classroom to make sure of it.

If you have read this far, I would like to meet you. — Brandon Gaylord
